PHIL GREENAWAY 1950 - 2009 R.I.P.

It is with sadness that I have to announce that my brother Phil Greenaway passed away in July 2009 after a long illness.

Phil joined the family business of Blunderbuss Antiques in 1970 and became known for his dedication to, and knowledge of, the militaria business. Known for his friendliness & wit , he was also a superb salesman , as many of you will know.

With regards and best wishes to all of our friends & customers who knew Phil

NEW BAYONET COLLECTION

We have just purchased an important and extensive collection of over 140 bayonets. Many of these have been sold by us to a collector over the past 45 years and we have been fortunate enough to have been re offered them together with a selection of 19th Century Side Arms and Cutlasses !

We have just added the first two batches of these items to our website and other groups will appear over the coming months. Please note that we have referred to the standard publications: THE BAYONET BOOK BY JOHN WATTS AND PETER WHITE 1975 and BRITISH & COMMONWEALTH BAYONETS BY IAN SKENNERTON when describing these items.

REFERENCE BOOKS

We are currently disposing of a number of reference books from our own library. Some of these books have been out of print for some time. All are complete but may have some damage which will be noted in the description. Please note that our standard postage rates apply (books are quite heavy to post!) and that these are sold as described and are not returnable.
